My brother asked if I would help surprise his wife, one of my besties, with a whole new room!! Of course I said yes!
I had 2 days and a budget of $1,000.
To be totally honest, I told him there was no way we were going to pull of that price point with all we had to get.
But what do ya know?
We freaking pulled it off!!
We needed everything.
Our starting point was a Purple mattress and frame.
That's it!!
So in that budget we needed:
Bedding
Dresser
Rug
Headboard
Night stands
Lamps
Art
Chair
Ottoman
The art is extra special.
I enlisted a friend to water color some paintings that I knew she would love.
They had recently traveled to Tennessee and fell in love with all the things!!
I wanted the art to reflect that, but not in an obvious way. I wanted something just they would know.
So he painted the smokey mountains and the Tennessee state flower.
Both of which were done in record time!! I asked him Saturday night and they were framed by Sunday morning.
Super jealous of his talent!
